A great real estate agent headshot is critical for making a good first impression and  will have a major impact on your career and sales numbers.

A great headshot is THE first step for building personal brand recognition that helps you get more listings and close more deals.

Posing for Business

There is no need to go crazy on your poses for real estate agent headshots. We tend to believe that less is more, and your professionalism is what we are trying to showcase. Other photographers force clients into some strange poses trying to be unique, but there is a reason the straightforward approach is still the best… It gets results…

At the beginning of your session, you should start with simple and straightforward poses. Simply stand there and smile.

Later, we will work toward some arms-crossed headshots and a couple candids as you loosen up infront of the camera.

Location / Backdrop

We typically recommend a studio session for agents just getting into the indusrty for multiple reasons.

Studio sessions are always the best place to start becasue shooting on a solid colored background can make the process of putting these images on business cards, flyers, and lawn signs very easy.

If you already have a great studio headshot in your portfolio, we’ve also seen some awesome headshots taken on-site at an actual real estate listing. These types of shoots cost more money, but with that comes lots of character and personality to help enhance your brand in the direction you want it to flow.

If you have the money to drop and want to hit the ground running, you should also consider getting both styles. A studio & a location portrait session making you look more established and professional.

If you don’t want to be the person with the same exact photo on every pice of branded material, and every social media site, investing in a quality headshot session will be well worht the cost.
